PicoScope 6 crashes

Post by Bastian »

Dear all,

I´m using the PicoScope 5442A with PicoScope 6.12.29.17 on a Dell E5570 Win7 Enterprise 64Bit machine.
Everytime, when I zoom in, the Software is crashing. It crashes even with or without connected device (demo mode). I tryied the PicoScope Beta as well.
I reinstalled the software allready, with no changes.
When I install the software on a virtual machine, it worked fine (as fine as the Pico Software can work......) But sadly, the VM is to slow for a smooth working.

Does anybody got the same problem or an idea, how to solve it?

Thx in advance
Bastian

I would make sure that the WIndows 7 installation is completely up to date, and I would perform a repair on the .Net framework as this can sometimes cause issues.

If this does not fix the problem then please email the crash reports to support@picotech.com and we can look into this in more detail.
