Serial decoding - SPI frame settings

Postby Justyn » Tue Apr 03, 2018 6:10 pm

Hi,

I cannot figure how (or if it is possible) to configure the SPI frame in serial decoding.

Specifically, the following two settings:

1) Frame length in bits
2) Frame delineation if capturing in the middle of a stream

PicoScope® 6 - PC Oscilloscope software version: 6.12.9.35
Model: PicoScope 2408B
Serial Number: EP210/0041
USB Version: 2.0
Calibration Date: 01 July 2016
Hardware Version: 1
Driver Version: PS2000A Linux Driver, 1.4.0.9
Firmware Version: 1.3.3.0 / 1.0.51.0

Thanks.

Hi Justyn,

Unfortunately, you can't do either of those.

All you need to do is accept that the decoding can start part way through a frame and just set the Time rulers after the first partial frame, and before any last partial frame and then decode between rulers.
