TC-08 Temp adjustment

Postby DGCYS » Tue Jul 17, 2007 1:03 am

It's been a while since i worked with this unit. I seem to recall a way to adjust / calibrate temperatue differences a few degrees up or down.
Like 3 t/c's reading 88, 86, 88 being able to adjust the 86 up to 88.
Can this be done?
Thanks,
David

Hi and thank you for your post.

Using PicoLog you can use a look up table when you select your input channels, you would need to do the following:

Options -> Scaling-> Scaling Method (Look Up Table)

you would then for example put the following:

0 4
2 6
5 9
....
86 88

So you would have the raw value then a space then the scaled value.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
Ziko

That helps but after applying a filtered value of 20 all 6 stabilzed to within 1º of each other. This is very acceptable considering i made the T/C's 60 feet long
Thanks,
DAVID
