PicoScope 3205: record and reproduce a wave form ?

Post by Mercurio »

Hi everyone.
I'm interested in buing a Picoscope 3205 but i need to know few things.
I need to record a wave form and then reproduce it with the AWG.
In few words, i need to save wave form on my pc (when i'm out of the lab) and then reprodece the exact wave form when i'm in lab.

Is it possible?

Thank you for the answers
Best regards

Gianluca

Hi and thank you for your post. You cannot do this with the 320x, I think the scope you are referring to is the 520x.

If you do mean the 5000 series, then yes you can do this, however there are a couple of points to bear in mind:

1) You can only have a maximum of 8000 points for your signal AWG
2) If your signal is repeating then I would recommend having exactly one waveform, so as to keep the repetition seamless.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
