Every time after I have taken a picture via "Edit" > "Copy as image", Picoscope switches off and I have to do a reconnect to get things running again.
Is this a known bug or do I have to do something extra to avoid this behaviour?
My O.S. is Linux Mint 18.2 MATE 64 bit and the Picoscope6 version is 6.12.9.35.
My PicoScope type is 2205A.
Here the trace.xml file after the problem happened:

Hi AnalogueMan,
When you refer to the application 'switching off' are you referring to the application stopping data capture or that the application shuts down automatically?
Does the problem also occur if you run the application as a Super User?
Are you using the supplied blue USB cable or another cable?
Regards,

Re: Picoscope swithes off after "copy as image"
Hello Hitesh,
Sorry for my somewhat late response but for some unkown reason I did not receive a mail that there was a response. But here the answers on your questions:
"When you refer to the application 'switching off' are you referring to the application stopping data capture or that the application shuts down automatically?"
No, the application does not shut down immediately but stops capturing data. But to get things working again I have to go to File > Connect Device and then start all over again by adjusting to the appropriate values etc.
"Does the problem also occur if you run the application as a Super User?"
Yes it does.
Hope this is of some help. If you want to let me do something more, please let me know.

Re: Picoscope swithes off after "copy as image"
Hi AnalogueMan,
No problem
When copying the data to text or image, it is expected behaviour for the device to stop collecting data.
Does this mean that you are unable to click the start/stop button to start data collection again?

God, I completely overlooked that button on the lower left corner!!
Yes, I notice now that it changed from "Running" to "Stopped" and I simply have to click on it to get things
running again. Thank you very much for your help.
Problem solved.
