ADC212 Driver installation

Post by sboucher » Wed Feb 21, 2007 6:20 pm

We have developped our own application for the ADC212 used in conjonction with the USB-Parallel port converter. We would like our software installer to take care of installing the ADC212 and USB-PP device drivers without having to use the PICO drivers installer. Could you please direct me what files we need to deal with and how.

Thanks,

Stephan

Hi

There are quite a few files that you need to put in several different places on the computer. For USB installation you need to have picopp.inf and picopp.pnf in the C:\WINDOWS\inf folder (this is a hidden folder).

You will need the adc200.sys and picopp.sys files in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers

I believe this is all you will need asides from the device drivers in the installation directory etc.

Let me know how you get on with this.

Best Regards

That is what I thought I would have to do. However, I can't find the INF files if I use the latest drivers installer from Pico!?!?
