Default filter setting not saved. Pico 6

Post by Landis »

Since upgrading to Pico 6 software, Activation of Lowpass Filter will not save as user default for startup setting.
Other options like scales, trigger point etc will save and be active at startup.
I am using pico 6.12.9.2917 with scope 3205MSO

Can you try saving a psdata file (save current waveform only), and using that to start up PicoScope which should preserve all settings.

Saved the waveform taken with active filtering enabled. When reopened, filtering is OFF but can be set to active.
My question was why is the setting of Active filtering not remembered when set as user default :?:

If you Activate Filtering on a channel and then save the file as a psdata file, this setting will be retained if you reopen the file using File->Open , if this is not happening for you then please post the psdata file and we can take a look.

Activated Filtering is not stored as a default setting as it will limit the number of samples that can be collected to 5M
