picoscope 6 BETA stuck on "enumerating devices..."

Post by aviolette »

I am a new picoscope french user . I've just received my picoscope device 2206B MSO.
I've installed picoscope BETA 6.11.13.3 on a HP laptop running XUBUNTU 17.04 (64 bits) and this seems to work fine (even though I've not been using it fully right now ).
I've then installed the same SW on a desktop 32bits running the same OS XUBUNTU 17.04. SW get stuck. Actually installed load is not exactly the same but 6.12.9.35.
thanks for help

Hitesh

Hi aviolette,

Welcome to the Forum :)

Could you please close the application when it locks up and then locate the trace.xml file referring to this post. You can post it here or e-mail it to support@picotech.com

Please also try the following:
  • Use the lsusb command to confirm that the device is connected
  • Try the usbtest application in the /opt/picotech/share/docs/libps2000a folder and see if it detects the device
