PicoScope2205MSO fault?

I have a PicoScope2205MSO - never had any problems but in use today suddenly froze display and (probably simultaneously) the power light went off.
On disconnecting and reconnecting USB light appears and device recognised by PC.
Within 3-4 seconds power light flashes then goes off, PC emits disconnect tone.
Any suggestions? known fault? expensive to test/repair?
Or am I missing something obvious?

Hi,

Would you be able to post what version of PicoScope 6 software are you're using as well as the OS you're running it on?
Are you using the blue USB cable supplied with scope?
