first capture of rapid block mode returns random data

Post by bastirich »

Hi,

I'm using a Picoscope 6403C with SDK Version 10.6.10(current Version on Download site).
Using the rapid block mode, the first capture of a run is always some random data, the following ones are ok.
This data is constant for subsequent runs of the rapid block mode but changes when restarting the application.

I tried to test whether the data comes from the Picoscope API by setting the buffer to all zeros right before calling ps6000GetValuesBulk. Indeed the values seem to be set by the Picoscope API.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Bastian

Hi Bastian,

If you are building a 32-bit application, please try the ps6000.dll and picoipp.dll from the latest PicoScope 6 install directory.

Alternatively, please e-mail support@picotech.com and we can provide you with updated drivers.#

A new PicoSDK driver installer will be available soon.

Regards,
