migration of PicoScope Example Code in LabVIEW NXG

Post by Maik » Mon Jun 12, 2017 6:44 am

As recommended by NI, I installed the latest Version of LabVIEW NXG 1.0 for development.
I tried to migrate the LabVIEW Project in LabVIEW NXG.
I found,It is easier to operate the installed NI Hardware. And the Panel Looks nicer.

However I have Problem of PicoScope example code conversion: there are too many error message after conversion of PicoScope Example Code.

As I was informed, LabVIEW NXG does not Support 32-bit-DLLs. Is it the root course of the failure?

Will PicoTech Support LabVIEW NXG in the future?

Hi Maik,

LabVIEW NXG is available as a 64-bit application so you will need to ensure that you have the 64-bit PicoSDK installed and then update the examples as per this post (see point 9).

Examples for 64-bit versions of LabVIEW will appear in a 64-bit-examples folder for the relevant driver in our GitHub repository as they are created.

We are aware of LabVIEW NXG and will be investigating compatibility of our examples. The application is at an early stage with new features being added from what we have seen so far.
