Possibility to use scope without USB Connection

Post by NetoLE »

Hello!

My question is if it is possible to use the scopes (in my case 3000 series) without any cable-connection to the PC.

A scenario would be: configure the scope with picoscope software to capture with a trigger, disconnect the USB let the scope run, connect the cable later, get the captured scope.

This would be a scenario where you need to log captures from a moving platform like in the industry.

I came up with the question because there is always mentioned the big memory inside the scopes and in the API-documentations there is also mentioned a block-wise operation, where whole blocks are saved in the internal memory.

Thanks for the answers
Felix

No, all of our PicoScopes need to be connected to the PC to operate.
