FFT and Cross Corellation

Post by criss »

I would like to use the 3224 oscilloscope card as an FFT analyzer. The 3224 has only 512K of memory. I am assuming this is what limits the resolution bandwidth of the FFT. At 20 Megasamples/sec it can only collect 25.6 milliseconds of data, or roughly enough to resolve 128Hz increments. Does this sound correct?

I am also interested in using two channels in cross-corellation. Does the FFT software support this?

Hello Criss,

Thank you for your post.

The 3224 fft function will allow you to view a 10MHz bandwidth with 4096 increments.

The software will allow you to view one or tw channels at once in the same FFT window.

Best regards,
Michael
