LabView "unable to open PicoScope" 3203D

Post by Jan-Philipp »

Hello,

i installed the SDK for the PS3000 (PicoSDK_32_10.6.10.22.exe) and tried to use the 3203D PicoScope with the example vis. When i run the PicoScope3000ExampleBlock vi the message "unable to open PicoScope" is shown and the return code of the call library function node is 0. The LED at the front stays red.
Using the PicoScope with the PicoScope 6 Software works fine.
I copied the ps3000.dll file to various locations including the Labview resource path (C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2015\resource)

Help is greatly appreciated! :)

For the PicoScope 3203D you need to make sure you are using the PS3000a examples, not the PS3000 ones which are for the older 3000 series devices.

You will also find that our example code is available on GitHub as it gives us greater flexibility to make changes.
