FFT Window

Post by JohanvB » Tue May 02, 2017 1:08 pm

Hello,

Is there a possibilty to delete one window of the spectrum analysis in a range of windows, for example a start-up of a device, to become a better peak hold graph?

Thank you for the answer.

Hi JohanvB,

If I understand you correctly, you are capturing multiple buffers in Spectrum mode and using peak hold across the buffers which is getting distorted by an uncharacteristic waveform in the first window as a result of the signal captured immediately after the trigger point. So, you wanted to know if you could somehow reject the first waveform from the Peak hold calculation.

Unfortunately, there is no current way to do this in our software.

Regards,
