USB Printing error

Post by dynalogic »

Hi,

I have a ADC-11 USB Logger, a HP 5150 inkjet printer and freshly installed Win98se. The printer is installed correctly, printing test pages ok and from other apps such as excel on the computer. However when trying to print through the PICO software the following error appears: "Error writing to USB001 for the printer (HP DeskJet 5100). Unknown system error. Restart windows"

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

This is difficult as it appears to be related to your system. Firstly, is your printer connected by USB? Are yo using a hub for connection?

Basicly it sounds like the USB port is being occupied by either the ADC11 or the printer.

Please let me know how you get on.

Best regards,
Michael

What colour cartridges make red print in an inkjet printer?
I have two same model inkjet printers, one of them isn't printing out reds correctly, so I must have a bad cartridge. So, what out of black, yellow, magenta, cyan, light magenta, and light cyan is likely to be the culprit?
