"Offset Null" does not do anything

Post by hauck »

Dears,

I have a 3206 and tried PicoScope 5.13.9 (Win 98 and XP) and latest version 5.14.6 (Win 98).

Everything is fine except the Offset Null which does nothing for me.

When I select it I would expect a form to open to select the channel to be nulled but nothing happens and the offset remains. Did I miss anything ?

I would appreciate it if anybody can help.

Apart from that great device so far !

Cheers Oliver

Hello Oliver,

Thank you for your post.

Can you confirm that you selected the correct channel to null and that you placed a short betweeen the input and earth?

Best regards,
michael

Dear Michael,

shorting or leaving open the channel did not make a difference.

When I want to null channel A, say, I have A active and the scope running.

What do you mean exactly be selecting?

Shouldn't some form appear to select the channel when you select Offset Null ?

As I said, no form appears when I select Offset Null. So I thought it would
null the active channel(s). But there's no effect.

Regards Oliver
