Hi,
I’m a PhD student at the Department of Civil Engineering, the University of Liverpool. I’m interested in your ADC-212/50 as it makes a good compromise between sampling rate, vertical resolution, memory depth, the external trigger and it has the most effective to display and the simple to use software on the market. I’m wondering however if I can connect this ADC to my laptop using the “parallel into USBâ€

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

Q1
Our USB adapter is designed to work with all of our parallel port devices. This will be suitable for your application.

Q2
Each window that you open will be independant of the other windows. Time domain and frequency windows will each have their seperate settings. Also, each window will access the scope in turn. Therefore the more windows you have open, the longer between each update.

Q3
Each window has its own settings. So each window can have a unique record length, timebase and voltage ranges.

Best regards,
Michael
