Any way to invert pattern on 2202 ?

Post by ideal1 »

Is there a way to invert the pattern or switch polarity on the 2202 scope?
I would like to use it for secondary ignition but pattern is upside down. If I reverse probe leads the pattern gets deformed and erratic. Can it be done with custom ranges?

Ranges

The PicoScope Automotive software has these ranges already configured along with a lot of other automotive specific resources and settings. However, your 2202 is not an automotive scope and the automotive software version is not compatible. You will have to make your own custom ranges for conventional secondary based on the probe attenuation and inverting the scaled output to turn the pattern over.

Thanks. I was playing with the custom ranges today and was able to get a good stable right side up pattern on 2000 chev 6.0L and 98 Linc with COP.
