R5.14.4 won't work

Hi,

I have just installed R5.14.4 for Windows and receive the Error message "the file adc10032.dll failed to load correctly." when trying to open the Picocscope software. I click "OK" and the software loads but without any scope traces. When I click on Help, About, the splash screen shows that the software release is June 14 2006 but no release number i.e. R5.14.4. Also at the bottom of the splash screen it says "Driver not found".

Strangely, I can open the Picolog ok.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for your post.

It sounds like the old version of picoscope has persisted on the system.

Please uninstall all versions of PicoLog and PicoScope. Then download or rerun the latest install program from our website.

This should correct the problem.

Doh - thanks very much. I thought the program was uninstalling the previous version itself and then installing the new version. I'll remember to uninstall first next time!
