Is there an easy way to document alarms?

Post by sporoman »

I am not sure if I am missing something but I am looking for a way for the software to list all alarms that occur. Laboratory application and it seems like this should be included as a pretty basic feature. Maybe I am overlooking something.

I am running 2 TC-08 with about 14 thermocouples on Windows 10.

Thank you

Hitesh

Hi sporoman,

Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available in the software so I have submitted a feature request for our Development Team.

Currently, the software will provide a visual and aural indication when the alarm is triggered, and where supported, activate the digital outputs on a device.

Hi Sporoman,

A quick solution is to read Picolog data with an Excel file and build the alarm fuction there. Then you would have all alarms recorded and visible in the Excel file. For details see:

and

All above has been developed for the DrDAQ, but works equally well with any logger using Picolog.
