Arbitrary waveform generator update rate 20 MHz

Postby petr.kriz » Thu Jul 14, 2016 1:34 pm

Hello,

i would like to ask you, how can get to work arbitrary waveform generator on rate 20 MHz? In documentation is written, arbitrary generator should work up to 20 MHz. Signal generator can work only to 1 MHz (useful 100 kHz square). I would like to generate 2 MHz square and arbitrary generator up to 20 MHz could be sufficient for this task. Is it possible reach this square? Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Which device do you have, and which documentation says the frequency of the AWG is 20MHz ?

Update rate of 20MS/s is not the same as maximum output frequency.
