ADC-16 sampling rate

Postby JimmieSBT » Tue Apr 11, 2006 1:24 pm

Saw that the ADC-16 is configurable between 8 and 16 bit, with 200Hz at 8 bit, 1,5Hz at 16 bit.
What wuold the sampling rate at 10 bit be? (1 channel used, divided when 2 used I guess?)

Hi Jimmie

Thank you for your post.

The ADC-16 can be set for 13 to 16 bits. The conversion times for this are as follows:

13 bits = 78ms
14 bits = 151ms
15 bits = 298ms
16 bits = 657ms

It cannot be set down to 8 bits, 13 is the lowest.

I hope this helps

Best Regards
Sarah

Thank you for the answer.

Just took a closer look at the manual posted on your website, and there it states 8-16 bit resolution. (And also the conversion times  )
Have the product been changed/revised at some point?
