Record whit picoscope

Post by Bernat »

Hi,
I am new in use picoscope 6 software. I am wondering if I can record digital inputs 30-60minutes or more. I want to see what happening with 2-3 signals(if one signal is missing after a while). It is possible to do this with picoscope 3203D MSO?
Thanks,

Martyn

Yes you can record for long periods of time, up to 13 hours with the PicoScope software, but this has to be balanced against the sampling frequency.

The alternative approach would be to look for and trigger on the missing signal, and just capture the data related to the event, allowing the full speed of the device to be utilised.

You would need to set up an advanced trigger, the tool bar at the bottom, to capture the event. If you then want to save the capture automatically to a file you would need to use the Tools->Alarms feature.
