Save.mat file in picoscope 6 mac Beta version

Post by ghoreish »

Hi,

I have problem opening the .mat files that are cerated by Picoscope 6 on mac.
I have used Matlab version 7.12.0.635 to load them without success. It gives the error:
Error using ==> load
Can't read file ..\xyz.mat

I think this might be because of the version of the .mat file (which is 4).
I appreciate it if someone tells me if/how the save configuration on Picoscope can be changed so that mat files can be read by Matlab 7? Or if there any way to open the current files with Matlab 7?

Thanks,
Sara

Hi Sara,

How many samples have you saved per channel?

If you have saved more than 100MS per channel, please e-mail support@picotech.com and we will look to assist you further.

If you have data for multiple channels and it consists of less than 100MS per channel, you could select the file in the Current Folder view and then try loading the individual channels when the contents are displayed.

Thanks for you fast reply.

There is actually only one channel and the number of samples are less than 100M.

I tried to attach the file here but apparently .mat files are not allowed.

Thanks,
Sara
