PS5242A: DLL's missing from SDK?

Post by RMaso »

Hello,

I just downloaded the PicoSDK 32-bit stable release (numbered 10.6.10.22) and installed per the wizard. After watching the "Using PicoScope with LabVIEW primer" Youtube video, I can't find the two .dll's the video calls for: PicoIPP.dll and PS5000a. Searching on ".dll" in Windows explorer only brings up these pertinent results:

PS5000aWrap_thunk_pcwin64.dll
PS5000a_thunk_pcwin64.dll

These files are from the MATLAB folder too, not even the LabVIEW one. Where can I find the required LABVIEW dll's?

Thank you!

Have you looked in "C:\Program Files\Pico Technology\SDK\lib" it may be that your search does not allow searching system folders.

Thanks! Although I had to check that folder structure 5 times (I blame all the eggnog!), I finally found the files. I initially downloaded the files on a laptop since I can't on my work computer. After installing the drivers, I copied the files over via external HDD. I guess I missed the files in question. I checked the laptop I originally installed on, and there they were!

Thanks for your help on my dumb mistake!
