Erroneous data in FAST mode for adc-212

Post by IAS ATLANTA »

We have a very simple VB application based on your example. The trouble is that we are using fast mode. So we tell the system to capture after a little while and then analyze the data and wait till the timer schedules another burst of data.

Many times we get a signal from Channel 2 which seems to be rectified. The sinusoid will be a rectified sinusoid, a rectangular pulse will be 0. And it happens randomly.

Putting the FAST mode button routine in a loop in the sample program also gives us that problem. Please advise accordingly...

Hi,

There shouldn't be any problem with this. The PicoLog application uses the same drivers as are supplied for your own programs, so if this works fine (try it) then your application will function correctly.

I would go back to our original example application and confirm that this is working before making modifications.
