Picoscope on El Capitan

Postby haggerty » Mon Oct 05, 2015 5:39 pm

I was using Picoscope beta for Mac successfully with Yosemite (Mac OS 10.10.5), but it no longer starts in El Capitan (MacOS 10.11). The message is "Mono installation not found." I tried Mono (which says it has an El Capitan hotfix) and a preview edition 4.2.0, but neither starts. I can start the gui from the command line with

but in 4.2.0 it doesn't find my device; in, it seems to mostly work, although it may feel a little sluggish.

I guess there is some issue with mono being in the PATH, and it is certainly in the PATH when run from a shell:

[~]$ mono --version
Mono JIT compiler version 4.0.4 ((detached/d481017 Mon Sep 28 17:32:19 EDT 2015)
