New Linux version is much better, but still crashes

Post by wharvey »

Instead of missing a lot of features and crashing every few hours, it seems to have all the features and ran for 1 week+ before it crashed.

Could not attach to process. If your uid matches the uid of the target
process, check the setting of /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope, or try
again as the root user. For more details, see /etc/sysctl.d/10-ptrace.conf
ptrace: Operation not permitted.
No threads.

Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.

I have set the stored waveforms to 1, looks like it take a little more time to crash, but to confirm...

After updating to Lubuntu from 12 to 15 and with the 4.2 Kernel the newest Picoscope crashed every 10 minutes.
Helpful was the new installation of newest mono-complete 4 from the mono-website/repos.
At least now its running for 20 hours without crash/sigdev...may this helps someone observing the same.
