Trigger based on two channels at a time

Post by Jean-Marc »

Hi,
I came across a case where I did not find the triggering mode I needed.
I wanted to check that the delay between the edge of the signal in one channel and the edge of another signal in another channel is within specs.
Thus, I needed to be able to trigger if the time between the edge (rising or falling, selectable) of channel A and the edge (rising or falling, selectable) of channel B, is between a minimum and a maximum.
Shall we have such a feature soon?
Regards,
Jean-Marc

Depending upon the exact nature of the signals you are looking at it may be possible to do this with the current versions of the software.

Set up a trigger on your primary channel, you can then use the Masks Feature on the secondary channel to give an indication of when the signal is outside of the permitted ranges.
