choice of data logger system

Post by jeffspedding »

We want to log 2 separate signals say every 5 minutes and display as trend curve on-line in real time. The signal may be either mV in range minus 1000 up to plus 1000 mV or may be a 4-20 mA signal as output from 2 Redox measuring instruments. We thought a Pico ADC 100 with the 2 input channels and PicoLog software with a laptop and suitable shunt if we go for the 4-20 mA signals.

Looking forward to your advice.

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

Firstly the ADC100 is no longer available from Pico. It has been superceded by the PicoScope 2202 - a vastly superior scope.

Secondly, you may be interested in the ADC11 USB 11-channel data logger. You can purchase a terminal board to facilitate shunt resistors for measuring current and changing voltage input range. Please visit http://www.picotech.com/data-acquisition.html

Best regards,
Michael
