How to display Digital Signal Names >2-3 characters

Post by stoney » Fri Aug 07, 2015 12:50 pm

Hi everyone - am a new user here, with a very newbie question - but searching through Pico's help and the forums, I couldn't find an answer to my question.

Very simply, I have a series of digital signals I'm capturing for a customer demo and have renamed them to make it clearer to the presenter what the signals are. The names are short but to be meaningful, need to be longer than the 2-3 characters that I can get currently displayed.

Is there anyway to widen the area which the names are displayed, or am I limited to 2-3 characters?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help!

Tony

Hi Tony,

The number of characters for digital channel names is currently fixed to a maximum of 3 characters.

I have added your comments to an existing feature request - the User Interface is being looked at as we look to support different display types e.g. standard PC, tablet etc. so this will hopefully be addressed.

Thanks, Hitesh - really appreciate the follow-up!
An option to expand the width of the labels would add a lot of flexibility to naming - thanks for taking this into consideration for future updates!
