Moving from ADC-212 to PS-3423

Post by kenauer »

We have been using the ADC-212 for a diagnostic product and are wanting to also support the PS3423. We directly connect to the driver software.

The settings we used to collect data on the ADC-212 do not map directly, but we've figured out how to map the differences... we think. However, the data we collect comes back with completely different results. The scale of the values seems hugely different. instead of ranging from 1 to 781 we are getting results ranging from -32767 to 10059.

Perhaps we're missing something in the documentation that tells us how to map these differently. Any pointers?

Hello,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Does the problem occur when using the ignition pick up or the current clamp?

If so, it sounds like you have mapped the scope settings but not the custom ranges.

Try adding the custom ranges as indicated in the following online articles:
http://www.picotech.com/auto/current_clamp.html
http://www.picotech.com/auto/secondary_ ... ickup.html

If this doews not solve your problems, please email us at:
