Error using Matlab and Blockmode with AdvancedTrigger

Postby lostprophet » Thu Jun 11, 2015 2:46 pm

Hey,

i'm using picoscope 3404A and tried the Matlab-Code-Example PS3000a_IC_Generic_Driver_1buffer_RunBlock_Adv_Trig.m
It worked ok so far...

unfortunately it just when setting the BUFFER_SIZE above 1024 in combination with a sample rate of about 1MS Matlab constantly crashes.

When trying to get the values of channels A, B and C i get the following error:

Code: Select all
Error using privateExecuteMCode (line 44)
Index exceeds matrix dimensions.

Error in instrgate (line 21)
   [varargout{1:nout}] =
   feval(varargin{:});

Error in icdevice/invoke (line 71)
        output =
        instrgate('privateExecuteMCode',
        code, obj, varargin, nargout);

Error in PS3000_trigger_block (line 115)
invoke(ps3000a_obj, 'setDefaults',
channelSettings);

Can somebody help me with any of these problems? i need a block of about 200ms. Thanks a lot!

edit:
i found the reason for the errors:

Matlab always crashed because I didn't know, that BUFFER_SIZE and pBufferChA (and all the others) had to have the same size.

And the error message appeared, because I didn't configure channel D, even though I didn't need it.
