Just bought a new PS 3423 Auto scope,installed the software and i am getting a error # 3 in the help-about file. please help. Scope software installed on a new Dell Inspirion 6000 laptop with 1.3 GHZ processor 512 M memory,60 gb harddrive. Message states "Picoscope could not open the following product (Picoscope 3000). when you click "OK", the Picoscope window actually opens. Release 5.12.7,USB version: 0.0,Hardware version: 0, Serial Number: n/a, Calibration date: n/a,Error code: 3, picopp.sys version: 0.0. Also channels c and d not present.

Thank you for your post.

It sounds like the computer cannot detect the unit. If you go to the device manager, what does it list for the product? It should list Picoscope 3000 series Oscilloscope. If it does not then you should reinstall the drivers.
