Picolog and networks

Basically, what we have is a lab PC to which we connect up to three TC-08s to meaure temps of [typically] up to twenty items under test. It would be very useful if we, as the engineers doing the test, could see the results on our own PCs in our offices without walking to the lab every so often (it's not so much the duration of the test as what happens during them [stabilisation, spikes, etc, etc] that we're interested in - although the final result is the most important; we need to see what's going on during the test... if you see what I mean!)

So, is there a Picolog version available that allows individual workstations to connect to the lab workstation and collect the data from it?

Many thanks in advance

Thank you for your post.

If the computers in question are connected via an IP network then you can use Picolog to connect over the network and view the resultsin different places. There is full information on how to set up IP networking in the help manual.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
