Possible to run 2 instances on one Adc-20?

Post by rentier22 » Mon Mar 09, 2015 3:00 pm

My problem: 4 Different samples shall be recorded from one ADC logger. For each sample, I record 2 data streams (potential in mV and current in mA). Signal conditioning & scaling works perfect. But now I want to exchange some samples, while the others are running continously.

Is it possible to run 2 or even 4 instances of the picolog software on one adc-20, each instance addressing just one pair of data in order to obtain individual plw-files for each sample?

Thanks in advance

Hi Rudolf,

Unfortunately, the driver will only allow one application to control the ADC-20 until it has closed the connection to the device so you cannot use multiple instances of PicoLog Recorder to obtain data from one device at the same time.

You can use Microsoft Dynamic (DDE) to obtain readings from the PicoLog Recorder application, possibly into separate files. If this is of interest please e-mail support@picotech.com
