Unknown USB device (Port Reset Failed)

Postby shmuel » Sun Jan 18, 2015 6:54 pm

After a period of good work, my 3204B device is not recognized by the Windows 8.1 system.
When I go to the Device Manager I see the massage in the line of the relevant port:
"Unknown USB device (Port Reset Failed)"

Hi shmuel,

Right-click the entry in the Windows Device Manager and select 'Uninstall'.

Next, unplug the PicoScope and try connecting it to a a different USB port (preferably one that is away from the port that you are having trouble with to avoid using a port on the same USB Root Hub).

Is the PicoScope 3204B recognised on a different PC? Does the LED light up when the USB cable is connected?

Regards,
Hitesh
