OpenSUSE 13.2 Fail

Post by jwhitmore »

Just migrated to the latest version of OpenSUSE and picoscope no longer works. It simply sits there waiting for data.

It might be the fact that it's a later version of Gnome?

Ouput from the command line execution:

I have some similar problems in KDE on OpenSuse 13.2

I needed libgdiplus.so development files to avoid "Unhandled exception" failure.
On startup I get a load of warnings:
libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
libpng warning: iCCP: cHRM chunk does not match sRGB

I get a continuous stream of:
(PicoScope.GTK:17049): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 24543 was not found when attempting to remove it
while running (several per second, with the ID generally increasing, although not monotonic, and changing by up to about 200 per message).

I get a:
(PicoScope.GTK:8636): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_map: assertion 'gtk_widget_get_visible (widget)' failed

Activating the second ruler requires me to move the focus off the Picoscope window elsewhere and then back.
I cannot remove the rulers at all once they are started without closing PicoScope and re-opening.

Other than that it seems to work pretty well.
