Reciently I came across a document "How to Create a Custom Protocol Decoder". The document was very brief and I am new at creating dll's. Is there a more complete example of how to do this? I need to decode Manchester and SENT for the purpose of evualting IC's. I saw the 1-Wire serial decode and got excited.

Hi mheim,

The versions of PicoScope 6 that the document corresponded would not offer very much for implementing custom protocols beyond those that are based on NRZ (Non Return to Zero).

The Serial Decoding interface is in the process of being reworked in order to fix bugs relating to existing protocols that are supported as well as providing better support for new protocols.

There should be something available in due course through a Beta version of the PicoScope 6 software so please do check the forum/newsletter from time to time for any announcements.
