Debian Jessie

Post by VincenzoV »

Hi

I'm using picoscope 3405A under linux. It work fine under Debian Stable (wheezy, my default os) and Ubuntu 14.04

Under Debian testing (jessie) I have some trouble, maybe for file permission.

As normal user (not working):

Code: Select all

vv@VV-testing:/opt/picoscope/lib$ picoscope
Password:
As normal user (work fine):

Code: Select all

vv@VV-testing:mono PicoScope.GTK.exe
As root (work fine, but not the best way...):

Code: Select all

root@VV-testing:/home/vv# picoscope
Not a big problem... just annoying

Does sound like permissions, it might be worth checking through http://www.picotech.com/support/topic13191.html
