3000 Series Pico

Which product is right for your exact requirements

3000 Series Pico

I want to increment the output frequency of a 3000 series pico scope in 0.1 Hz steps (as per the handbook).

Is this possible?

I tried it on a 3206 that I borrowed.
The frequency always rounded down to the nearest 1 Hz step?

Am I doing something wrong?

The frequency parameter for the frequency set routine was define as integer (Yr excel example), I redim'd it as Long.....no effect?

I will definitely purchase a 3206 if I can resolve this issue.
All other parts of the spec are OK.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your post.

I have been talking to our software and hardware engineers and they say it should be possible to set it to 0.1 steps, however it appears that the driver might not be able to do this.

We will need to look into this more and will then change the help manual or driver accordingly.

Best Regards

I have been checking with our engineers about your question.

The PS320x siggen can be set at integer values. When sweeping the freqency increments can be in ~0.1Hz steps (actually 25M /2^28 Hz steps) but the start and stop values must be integers.

I believe we will be updating our documentation regarding this.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
