Need help with Picoscope experiment

Hey guys,
So I'm doing an experiment in Physics and it involves having to drop a magnet down a tube, going through two coils which send a signal to the PicoScope software which will allow me to determine 'g'. I have no problem setting up the physical equipment, however I have never used this software before and was wondering if someone could tell me how I would be able to set it up to do this (I only know I need to use a 'Single Trigger Event')

Hi LividBark,

I would suggest adjusting the collection time/timebase and the number of samples collected per waveform (highlighted in yellow in the image of a PicoScope 6 display below).
