PicoScope Software for Linux limited functionality?

Postby Stephan » Fri Oct 10, 2014 1:05 pm

Hello all,

I am in the phase of evaluating the purchase of a PicoScope and want to verify its capabilities on my Linux platform in advance.

I installed the latest software release using ythe Debian repository without any problem, but when I run it in demo mode I am missing many features from the documentation, for example the math menu.

Since the windows version on a virtual machine has these features I am wondering if this is a general limitation of the Linux version. Is there any information about this availeable?

Kind regards

The Linux software does not have all of the features available in the Windows version. It is being updated, more information is provided with each release for example http://www.picotech.com/support/topic13191-60.html#p40955 This thread is the best place to keep up to date with the additions.
