Offline data handling of two psdata files

Postby logesgui » Fri Oct 10, 2014 9:10 am

How can I compare two different offline psdata-files ?

Example: Files with different step responses were created an I want to compare the both files in PicoScope.

From other programs I know features like "attach/open second file".

The programs have a switch to related the offline data to a relative time table (not absolute) so that files with equal sampling time and duration can easily be compared.

Hi logesgui,

You could use the Reference Waveforms feature within PicoScope 6 (select Tools -> Reference Waveforms) in order to export one waveform to a reference file.

If you then open the other psdata file, you can import the reference file that you have created.

It would be a good idea to use the same settings to capture the files so that waveforms can be overlaid.

I hope this helps.
