I am an Analog Design Engineer. I intend to construct, for my own use, a transistor curve tracer, and a magnetic analyzer, using Pico scopes. I am comfortable with the analog circuitry to power the drive from the Pico signal generator, and present outputs at a level usable by the scope. I could use some help with the firmware side.
A magnetic analyzer displays the hysteresis curve of the magnetic element. For a motor, this is instantaneous input power. The enclosed area represents energy per cycle.
I don't want to develop anything that I can buy. I would appreciate any knowledge that forum members may have about existing products or accessories.
I think that other member's use of the XY display would be interesting to me.
