I have an ADC24 and would like install a type B USB socket instead of the long tail that has been supplied, any ideas

Modifying the integrated USB cable in any way would invalidate your warranty.

What is the reason for wanting a USB type B socket?

I think the warrenty is out of date - the item was purchased in 2008
The reason for the usb type B is to be able to have a shorter usb cable or custom for diffirent projects

Hi biogenic,

It might be better to look for an adaptor that can be plugged onto the cable.

Attempting to change the cable may cause issues.
