Signal generator error for 6404C

Postby dragon » Mon Aug 25, 2014 11:30 am

Hi there,

I am trying to use ps6000SetSigGenBuiltIn in a VI to be used with Picoscope 6404C. I always get an error from the Call Library Function Node of ps6000.dll

The arguments are of the following data types:
Signed 16-bit Integer handle
Signed 32-bit offsetVoltage
Unsigned 32-bit pkToPk
Signed 16-bit waveType
4-byte Single startFrequency
4-byte Single stopFrequency
4-byte Single increment
4-byte Single dwellTime
Unsigned 32-bit Integer sweepType
Unsigned 32-bit Integer operation
Unsigned 32-bit Integer shots
Unsigned 32-bit Integer sweeps
Unsigned 32-bit Integer triggerType
Unsigned 32-bit Integer triggerSource

You can find simple VI attached.

Any help would be very apppreciated. Thanks in advance

Please check your data types against the programmers guide, I don't have access to this at present, but they don't look correct to me.

Hi,

You seem to be missing extInThreshold.

So Data types should be:
Signed 16-bit Integer handle
Signed 32-bit offsetVoltage
Unsigned 32-bit pkToPk
Signed 16-bit waveType
4-byte Single startFrequency
4-byte Single stopFrequency
4-byte Single increment
4-byte Single dwellTime
Unsigned 32-bit Integer sweepType
Unsigned 32-bit Integer operation
Unsigned 32-bit Integer shots
Unsigned 32-bit Integer sweeps
Unsigned 32-bit Integer triggerType
Unsigned 32-bit Integer triggerSource
Signed 16-bit Interger ExtInThreshold

Kind Regards,
Karunen
