Autosave Feature?

Post by kinetecopico »

Hi everyone, been using a pico 2203 hooked up to a flywheel to measure RPM. I'm trying to test the life span of the starter motor and i'm finding that if I want to get a RPM result (saved as a .txt file) for each test I have to manually save the file. Is there an auto-save function so I could leave it testing continuously? I read this may be using the alarms function but this didn't seem to work for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ollie

Hi Ollie,

This application does look like it would be suitable using an alarm condition.

Can you tell me how or why the alarm function did not work?

If you are saving multiple .txt file you will probably want to include %time% in the file name as this will stop the .txt files from being overwritten.

Kind Regards,
