Enviromon & RF Modems

Postby MaydayNetworks™ » Sun Feb 27, 2005 12:37 pm

The reason of that my datalogger is too far away from my converters, i want to use RF modems to establish communication between the datalogger and the converters.

The RF modem i have supports RS232 and RS485 at the moment and the baud rate od the modem is optional within standart range like(57600,19200,9600,2400 etc.).

I want to ask that what is the standart of communication between the data logger and the converters. And what is the speed?

Have a nice work,

Thank you for your post.

Usually when using a modem the Baud Rate will be 9600. Full information on this and the logger protocol is available in the Enviromon help file, under "Enviromon Logger Protocol".

Hope this helps

Best Regards
